After graduating with a double major in theatre design/production and theater management from Illinois State University, Joe Hallissey bypassed both the backstage and box office, starting his career at a boutique marketing and PR firm.
With a foundation in traditional advertising and street marketing, Joe’s career has evolved to focus on digital initiatives. In his 14 years of marketing experience, Joe has worked with a wide variety of performing arts, social service, educational, and community non-profits to help achieve their fundraising and revenue generation goals.
As a multi-disciplinary marketing professional, Joe provides expertise in planning from inception to completion. Currently, Joe focuses on digital fundraising, conversion optimization, and email deliverability solutions, among other online marketing topics.
Joe enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, attempts various DIY home improvement projects, and follows Manchester City Football Club.
