Joanna leads software selections and skillfully guides database conversions. Her joy is in creating systems that align with an organization’s specific fundraising strategies and unique business practices. Her specialty is Major Gifts Fundraising implementation; her passions are efficiency and ROI.
Joanna has designed and implemented prospect management pipelines and research processes for campaigns totaling over $250 million and has led over twenty database conversions, primarily into Raiser’s Edge and Salesforce systems. She holds four Salesforce Certifications: Administrator, Platform Developer, Education Cloud, and Nonprofit Cloud and is a member of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA).
Before joining Zuri Group, Joanna was a fundraising system and donor database consultant to nonprofit organizations across industries. Prior to consulting, she served as the Major Gifts Portfolio Manager at the Southern Environmental Law Center and as an executive leader and fundraiser with various arts organizations for 20 years. Joanna holds several degrees including a Masters of Nonprofit Management from Regis University along with multiple Bachelor's degrees. She is in the process of authoring an online resource, Bridging the Gap – A Nonprofit’s Guide to Improving its Fundraising System.
