Kate joins the Zuri Group team with more than 15 years of experience in strategic, organizational, and fundraising systems consulting. She’s worked with nonprofits including World Wildlife Fund for Nature, Best Friends Animal Society, Brown University, West Point Association of Graduates, Spectrum Health, and Boy Scouts of America. Prior to her consulting work, Kate spent 6 years with Yale University in the Office of Alumni Affairs & Development and Information Technology Services, and over 6 years in the Marketing and Communications industry. Her experience working with a variety of organizations gives her a breadth of understanding which uniquely positions her to support client partners through strategy and change and provides the expertise needed to engage deeply with the project team, sponsors, and organization leadership.
Kate has an extensive background in change management, system selection, fundraising, process design, information delivery and reporting, Blackbaud CRM™ implementations and best practices, and data warehouse design and conversion mapping. Whether you’re looking for a strategic advisor, design lead for implementation of Blackbaud CRM™ functionality, process engineer, conversion lead, project manager, business analyst, change management lead, trainer for core teams and end-users, configuration lead, technical writer for integrations and report design, or just an extra pair of hands – Kate knows how nonprofit operations and teams function and designs creative solutions that fit organizationally.
Kate presented her perspective on Information Delivery during the AASP Summit in 2017. She approaches the concept of “reporting” within the workflow of fundraising operations, rather than as its result. She advocates for delivering data in a way that supports the next steps in the process, tells a story, and combines and transforms into the next level of insight. Elegant data delivery increases system adoption, reduces the need for external tools and systems, and catalyzes more efficient fundraising processes.
