How Zuri Group is Helping Jewish Federations Make a Difference
The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia is a cornerstone of communal support and philanthropic giving in their region, dedicated to building and sustaining a strong, vibrant Jewish world every day. To support their work and mission, Zuri Group partnered with Jewish Philly to help them implement the Engaging Networks platform to fully integrate their email, SMS, and online giving with their fundraising system, Blackbaud CRM (BBEC).
As a complete integration across both front-end digital fundraising tools and back-end CRM systems, this project offered The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia a full-scale technology solution – one that helped to provide a seamless experience for donors while also streamlining workflows for their internal team.
THE CHALLENGE
The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia partnered with Zuri Group to migrate their custom marketing and fundraising tools to the Engaging Networks platform. In addition, Zuri Group worked with The Federation to integrate their new Engaging Networks platform with their BBCRM database of record. This project helped their organization solve a range of technology challenges they were facing in their day-to-day work, both internally and in their digital fundraising efforts:
Modernizing front-end systems: To better connect with their donors across digital channels, The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia aimed to modernize their email system and integrate their email, SMS, and online giving into one streamlined system. Recognizing the evolving nonprofit landscape, they identified a critical need to update their digital fundraising infrastructure to better support their day-to-day work.
Streamlining internal workflows: Previous technology required manual processes that added to the workload of the donor services team. With this transformation, The Federation recognized an opportunity to streamline and automate internal gift processing.
THE STRATEGY
To help The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia get the most out of their implementation, Zuri Group took a full-scale approach: from streamlining their technology and modernizing their systems to educating their team in using the new product. These efforts helped to ensure that both front-end and back-end systems were working together and optimized to drive the greatest success.
Custom Integration
Using the Zuri Group Velocity data engine for BBCRM, Zuri Group built a custom integration to automate the data flow between systems. The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia now uses Velocity data engine to automate several processes:
- Two-way data synchronization with Engaging Networks the Fundraising/Marketing Solution
- Gift reconciliation of bundled gifts through the Stripe payment gateway
- Accounting integration with Sage
THE RESULTS
The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia worked with Zuri Group to overcome challenges with their legacy systems by implementing innovative solutions across both their front-end and back-end systems. This project transformed the Federation’s online fundraising capabilities, powering significant impact on donor engagement and fundraising efficiency and ultimately helping them build the systems they needed to better fulfill their mission.
